The Global Family Enterprise Program wishes Professor Patricia Angus well on the next chapter in her career. Professor Angus will step down as Managing Director of the Program on May 31 to focus on her consulting work, research, and writing projects. She will continue to teach in the MBA, EMBA, and Executive Education Programs. Professor Angus has been an instrumental part of the development of the Global Family Enterprise Program from its entrepreneurial beginnings as a partnership among CBS professors and students. She established several Executive Education initiatives including the new Family Enterprises and Wealth online course and built the global community, including an active Advisory Board of family enterprise leaders, through events and ongoing programming. Professor Angus joined the School in 2012, when she launched the popular Family Enterprise and Wealth course. In her 11 years with the Program, she has educated over 400 students and led successful study tours to Sweden and Denmark in her Global Immersion: Nordic Family Enterprise course. We look forward to continuing to engage with Professor Angus through her research and practice, and thank her for her incredible leadership. The School has a search open for a Professor of Professional Practice in the Management Division with a focus on family business to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their professional background, teaching, and/or service. |
