Is your sense of self in your heart or your brain?

Professor Adam Galinsky and colleagues have conducted eight studies examining whether one's sense of self is in your heart or your brain. It turns out that the answer is affected by gender, culture and nationality, as well as whether you have an independent or inter-dependent self-construal.
